Lara Ressin - Tonic Pain and Tactile Perception

This is an ongoing project at the Jones, Silas & Ward Lab at Middlesex University London, where I completed my masters degree, about how pain changes our perception of touch.

We aim to answer the following questions:

How to reaction times and accuracy to tactile stimuli change under pain and no-pain conditions
Are there pain-related modulation of tactile ERP
How might psychological factors, including pain tolerance and catastrophising, contribute to our observations?
